Kindergarten Puppy Training Video (Second Edition)
This puppy training video covers most of what we teach at Manners 'N More Dog Training School. It is a 7 week session in which we teach some basic obedience exercises. These include a sit/down/stand first on a hand signal and then a verbal command, coming when called, walking on a loose lead. We also teach many "manners" techniques such as, no biting, no barking, no jumping, door training and grooming/handling techniques. We are motivational/food trainers and the techniques are explained in the video.
This video was not professionally videotaped, but is certainly watchable.
Starring in the video are the following puppies and dogs: Soft-Coated Wheaten Terriers Bronx, Gina/Fancy and Cali, Standard Poodle Tina, Parson's Russell Terrier Tinker, and Argentine Dogos Yala and Quito. Human friends are Carol Crouch, Betsy Geertson, Amanda Jones, and Libby Sprankle.

A portion of the profits from this tape are being donated to Wheaten Health in memory of Celt. Celt died of PLN/PLE on January 12, 2001. Celt was the Wheaten puppy star of our first video.
This tape is not a substitute for a puppy training class. You can find a trainer/school in your area by looking at the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and doing a search for trainers. Or you may contact us for help in finding an appropriate trainer for your puppy.
It is also recommended that you begin your puppy on a "Nothing In Life Is Free" program. You can get information on this at either the Dumb Friends League or K9Deb. This is a very non-threatening (to the dog) way of establishing some very good ground rules. You will thank yourself many times over for taking a few minutes, reading the information, and setting up the program.
Cost in US is $24.00 for VHS and $29.00 for DVD, which includes postage. If ordering 5 or more videos, cost is $15.00 for VHS and $20 for DVD. Postage is $10.00.
